Solar Sales Representative

Part-time & Full-time

Preferred education:  Associate's Degree

Work Experience:  3-5 years

Job Description

  • generate customer leads to develop new accounts

  • develop strategic plans for sales strategies

  • prepare proposals, quotes, contracts or presentations for potential customers

  • select solar energy products, based on electric energy requirements

  • assess sites to determine suitability for solar equipment

  • calculate potential solar array production for a site

  • provide technical information to potential customers or dealers

Solar Site Assessor

Part-time & Full-time

Preferred education:  High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Work Experience:  1-3 years

Compensation:  commensurate with experience


  • drivers license

  • detail oriented

  • experience with Solmetric Suneye, SolarPathfinder or related programs

  • ability to explain solar economics

  • proficiency in Microsot Office

  • electrical knowledge

  • energetic, self-starter comfortable in fast paced environment

Job Description

  • conduct on-site or remote studies of residential, commercial and utility scale sites

  • create and share detailed site drawings, reports and analysis

  • generate leads, schedule assessments and meet with customers

  • assess and document electrical conditions and review weather patterns

  • assess sites to determine suitability for solar equipment

  • calculate potential costs and savings

  • write recommendations in a formal report for customer
