This position is a great opportunity to earn class credit while also learning how the procurement and development processes works in the solar industry. Job tasks will include learning how to discover offtakers and landowners, project management work and sales engineering. We are also seeking a graphic designer. If you are planning a career in sustainability, engineering or sales this is the perfect internship for you.
Solar Site Assessor
Part-time & Full-time
Preferred education: High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Work Experience: 1-3 years
Compensation: commensurate with experience

Job Description

conduct on-site or remote studies of residential, commercial and utility scale sites

create and share detailed site drawings, reports and analysis

generate leads, schedule assessments and meet with customers

assess and document electrical conditions and review weather patterns

assess sites to determine suitability for solar equipment

calculate potential costs and savings

write recommendations in a formal report for customer
